A journey from the heart, to the heart.
Join our soul-stirring Bhajan circles — a communal gathering where we dissolve divisions through the pure, joyous power of collective chanting and devotional music.
Bhajans (from the Sanskrit root 'bhaj', meaning to partake or share) are traditional Indian devotional songs. Unlike formal classical music that requires years of rigorous technical training, Bhajans are explicitly designed for community participation.
At Sahasra, our Bhajan circles draw from multiple rich traditions across India — from the verses of saint-poets like Kabir and Mirabai, to traditional Malayalam and Tamil compositions, accompanied by harmonium, tabla, and kartals.
A communal call-and-response format where everyone's voice merges into one.
You don't need to be a trained singer. Just bring an open heart and a willingness to join in.

We regularly host and facilitate Bhajan programs for our community. Join our scheduled events or invite the Sahasra Bhajan group to facilitate a session for your private gathering.
Our main weekly gathering. Deep, centering, and joyous. We sing traditional chants followed by a brief silent meditation.
Special extended two-hour sessions held on the evening of every full moon, utilizing the heightened planetary energy.
Sahasra is available to lead Bhajans for private spiritual gatherings, house warmings, and community events.
Reserve your spot for our next weekly circle or contact us to book the Sahasra Bhajan group for your upcoming program.
